We all need support at different times in our lives.

“Social isolation and loneliness increase the risk of dementia, stroke, cardiovascular disease and premature death,” according to the World Health Organisation. This recognised global health priority is often referred to as a quiet emergency.

Every year, we receive thousands of calls from seniors seeking connection and practical help. Our team provides local social connection programmes, services and support that make a real difference.

For many New Zealanders, loneliness and everyday challenges can feel overwhelming. That’s where Age Concern steps in and your donation makes this possible.

With your help, we can continue to be there for our older community members when they need us most. Please donate now, because we all need support sometimes.

Making a donation to Age Concern Wellington will help us continue our crucial services for seniors. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated, and if you’d like to know more about how you can support our work through a gift in your will, we’d love to hear from you. Call us on 04 499 6646 (option 5).
