Thanks to our fantastic sponsors Summerset, EAT and AMP, our expo table partners, Venues Wellington, Wellington City Council, our fabulous speakers, our volunteers and staff, and all of you, we held another successful event this year. Thank you also to Age Concern NZ for enabling us to have the Well Balanced Display, Bunnings Wellington Central for the speaker gifts, and to the 200 seniors who made their way to the St James Theatre for the day.
Making Connections 2025 was bigger and better than ever! We had a health hub, as well as tea and tech one-on-one help for seniors wanting to learn more about their tech device. If you missed it this year, we hope to see you there next year.
On-site Tech Support
At Making Connections, seniors had the opportunity to get tech support from the amazing volunteers from AMP. At recent Tech days, AMP volunteers were able to help many seniors with various tech issues including watching TV on a tablet, navigating a new laptop and installing apps like WhatsApp. They’ll be available again at other events around the Region.
